A place where taking risks doesn't mean facing dangers alone, but stepping forward under a steady, unseen protection?

Today, I want to invite you into that shelter—the fortress of God's protection.

More Than Just Safety: The Spaciousness of Security

When we think of protection, we often imagine locked doors and security systems. But God's protection is something far more alive and dynamic.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.

One church team kept caring for the homeless despite threats and tough weather. They were fueled by stories of God's daily provision—hot meals showing up unexpectedly, donations arriving just in time, protective encounters that could only be called miraculous.

That's the pattern: recognizing God's protection stirs gratitude, which sparks deeper faith, which leads to bolder action, which reveals more of God's faithfulness.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you.
Psalm 91:9-10

Take a moment to reflect on your own history. Can you see patterns of God’s intervention? Poor choices that were redirected? Friendships that drifted for unseen good reasons? Jobs lost that opened the way for something better?
