Growing at God’s Pace in His Garden

Growing Into Its God‑Given Identity

“As soon as I pray, You answer me; You encourage me by giving me strength.” -Psalm 138:3

Hi guys,

There is a kind of growth that doesn’t announce itself. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t demand perfection. It simply unfolds at the pace God sets, even when we don’t recognize it as growth at all. Lately, I’ve been learning to honor that pace—not just in my walk with Jesus, but in the way Woven With Gold is becoming the brand God intended it to be.

When I filmed Episode 1 of my new vlog series, “So This Is Living,” I didn’t expect it to become a mirror. But as I spoke, I realized I was describing more than my life. I was describing the way God grows all of us.

“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.”
Ephesians 3:16

I find myself fencing between trusting the Lord and waking up to a reality that doesn’t always match what He has spoken. What I mean is this: I have to humble myself daily. Who I am when I wake up is not always the same woman Jesus calls me to strengthen in faith.

I am an imperfect woman, mother, and leader. My only hope is in Christ alone, so I endure many things—praying to be preserved and set free from the affairs of life.

This tension between anticipation and limited reality is a battle for my heart. And I am sure you can relate. There are seasons where faith sets in, and you must make peace with growing at your pace—waiting slowly for a harvest that seems unlikely by the world’s standards.

But the Lord gave me an image: a vine growing on a wall. It grows upward and eventually over the wall, but only at its own pace. It becomes what it needs to be, and it becomes visible in its time—because the wall sustains it. And so it is with us.

In my vlog, I said, “Sometimes we need to see reality from our own spaces to understand how we are supposed to grow.” That wasn’t scripted.

It was simply a Christian truth rising to the surface of our mind, from our hearts.

We imagine growth so intensely that we create standards God never asked us to carry. We assume someone else’s walk looks holier, deeper, more disciplined. And yet, the Lord keeps reminding me that our pace is holy when He sets it.

Psalm 138:3 says, “As soon as I pray, You answer me; You encourage me by giving me strength.” Strength doesn’t always look like momentum.

Sometimes it looks like patience. Sometimes it looks like preparation. Sometimes it looks like showing up in small ways until God speaks life to them.

That’s exactly what He’s been doing with Woven With Gold.

Earlier this year, in May 2026, I legitimized Woven With Gold LLC. I did the CRM, the booking system, the payment structure, the website—everything needed to support prophetic Christian coaching. I didn’t have clients yet, but God told me to prepare the soil anyway. He asked me to build the business before I saw the fruit. And I did.

While the coaching business waited for its appointed time, the ministry began to bloom. Friday livestreams. Daily shorts. Monday uploads. Twitch and Facebook streams. Biweekly blog posts. I didn’t realize it then, but God was forming the ministry as the first branch of the brand—teaching me to pour out freely, consistently, and authentically.

Then came the third branch: the face of the brand.

Me.

My life.

My humanity.

Let me tell you, I am so glad I did a 21 day fast, or this step would have never happened.

Episode 1 of the vlog is my way of opening the door and saying, “Hi guys, if you’re new here, so am I.” It’s my way of showing that my walk with Jesus is not unreachable.

It’s not polished. It’s not perfect. It’s real. It’s human. It’s growing.

I said in the vlog, “People assume my life and approaches to spending time with the Lord look different from theirs. And so, here I am.” That sentence carries the heart of this entire season.

God is teaching me that authenticity is not a weakness—it’s a witness. The same way He is building my brand in three parts—a business, a ministry, and a face—is the same way He builds us. He grows our identity, our calling, and our character in one accord.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)

John 10:10 says, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Abundant life doesn’t always look abundant. Sometimes it looks like small beginnings. Sometimes it looks like quiet consistency. Sometimes it looks like learning to exist in the space God placed you, without rushing ahead of Him.

Isaiah 58:11 says, “You shall be like a watered garden.”

A garden grows slowly.

A garden grows quietly.

A garden grows under the care of the One who planted it.

Woven With Gold is becoming that garden.

And so are you.

As I continue to grow—at my pace, in my space—I pray you recognize the holy pace God has set for you. Even if it doesn’t look like growth. Even if it doesn’t feel like progress. Even if it seems small. You are being built the same way this brand is being built: intentionally, gently, and in one accord with the Lord.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)

This is living.

This is growth.

This is His Garden.

If this reflection encouraged you, I invite you to watch Episode 1 of the vlog and join me as we grow together—authentically, imperfectly, and beautifully—in the presence of Jesus.

Share your reflections in the comments — your story may be the very reminder someone else needs today.

And if this message resonated with your spirit, share it with someone who needs to see it.

Let’s encourage one another in Christ.
